Yep. Greg Grant has a brand new album- "We Have Eyes" just released on July 1st! You can get your copy of this hand silk-screen hand-packaged first-edition printing gem from the store or take a listen on our media page or at Last.fm. More options for downloads and listening should be available soon along with more media- like videos, album reviews and interviews.

You can now choose between three themes on the Altered State Records website. The Default! theme- with a color scheme of white, yellow and black with the good 'ol deep sea diver in the background. Or the two new themes of Black & Pink! with white text and a grungy pink banner or the no format Mobile theme. Try them out- if you look at the top right corner of every page you'll see: Theme: Default! Black & Pink! Mobile! - just click on Black & Pink! or Mobile! link and you'll see the change, if you want to switch back just click on Default! link and you'll return to the default setting. Still in the works are a few more themes you can choose from.

We have had the domain name AlteredStateRecords.com for many years now, and it been years that we've had to spell the entire thing out over the phone when someone didn't understand the words we where saying. Or it would be confused as a plural item turning it into Altered States Records. So we picked up a new domain www.asrmusic.net. It is the same site just way easier to say and way easier to remember!

Some people are asking where the media player is located since the site re-design, it is now located in the media section with a pop up version so you can listen while you surf. All the albums in the store have tracks on selected songs that are located under the info of each title. Also you can also listen to Greg on Last.fm and Pandora.com. 

We are currently recording the next release from Greg Grant , and would like to thank everyone who has been dropping by and checking out the website, buying CD's, purchasing downloads, and to all the musicians who are submitting their demos.

With the sales of CD's we have taken notice that we currently have just under 20 copies of Musth left, so if you are interested in having an actual disc of the Musth recording, please purchase it now because we are not sure if we will reprint or just have it available as digital download.

Hello and welcome to the new look of Altered State Records! It has been a few years and with spring here, we thought we would do some spring cleaning. We are sorting through many little bits of code and highlighting the things that you asked for. We made a new tour dates page, with individual artist rss feeds so you can keep up to date with concerts and events with your favorite feed reader. We also updated the news section so you can also get an rss feed to keep up to date with the lastest news, free downloads and the best swag deals when the news breaks. Still ahead in the near future will be a theme changer so you can choose for yourselves which look suits the website best.
